Have something interesting to say having to do with young professionals or finance? I'm looking for more young professionals to write an article for Young Professional Finance Blog.

We're one of Google's top 10 finance blogs and you'll have thousands of people reading your stuff! I'm open to lots of topics. The rule is pretty much: whatever you write about should be interesting to young professionals in their 20s or 30s.

Just contact me with an idea or an article!

I noticed the most traffic I get to the site from Google is the search term "finance blog". I'm happy to say YPFB is coming up #11, right at the top of the second page!



If you have a chance, spread the word and let your friends know about the site. Maybe we can get it up one on the first page.

I realize it'd been almost 2 months since my last update. It's kinda hard to build a blog without updates, isn't it?!

As I mentioned in my last post, I have taken a new job and as I expected it's kept me quite busy. I've been back and forth across the country a few times and have been to NYC 4 times. As a matter of fact, I'm there right now. It's interesting to see how the business atmosphere is similar and different across the country. Here in New York, you see a lot of people dressed up, working long hours-- there's a lot of opportunity as well, though.

So, I'm living in Northville, MI now, and occasionally I'm actually there, working out of my home office. I'm starting to get a feel for parts of this job and hope that I can open up some time for finance again! Look for articles coming in the future. I haven't forgotten about YPFB.

Sorry for the lack of daily updates lately. I've been in the process of accepting a new position as a Sales Engineer with Move Networks and am preparing to move back to Metro Detroit in the coming few weeks. The good news is this new job will bring with it travel and the opportunity to provide insight and perspective on Young Professionals and finance in other parts of the U.S. (NYC, L.A., and more). Please bare with me as I make this transition-- more blog postings are coming!
